Fitting guide
A summary of the typical steps for a Classical Rainwater run. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific installation.
Set the fall to the outlet
Mark a slight gradient along the fascia toward the outlet position so water runs freely to the downpipe.
Fix the brackets
Fit the brackets to the marked line — around two per 1.83m length, and no more than 900mm apart, with a bracket near each joint.
Cut and drill to size
Cut lengths to size with a hacksaw. Where fixing through the gutter, drill 8mm holes about 20mm in from the spigot.
Joint the system
Connect lengths with union clips, sealant and setscrews, checking each spigot-and-socket joint is fully seated.
Fit the downpipe
Fix eared pipes back to the wall directly, or use spacer plates where the pipe needs to stand off the surface.
Prepare and overpaint primed products
The black primer finish is for transport only. Overpaint primed items with a suitable top coat before or after installation.
